Design Development

Instead of using colourful lights,
we have decided to use a subtle direct,
towards the intensity and hues of white lights.
This will create a more comfortable environment
for the tenants and their everyday life.


We have also looked at materials that will contribute-
to the efficiency of mechanism and energy throughout the entire building.
Putting more effort to help the World decrease our individual carbon footage.
But without being too humble about it.
We still want to put features that will create and add oppulance to the space.

We have come up with new ideas,
And one of them being this perforated screen.
The idea was to create a mechanism that could trigger interactions within the community and the buiding.
But also the idea of BASK; taking pleasure in the sun, together.
Taking the strongest element, light,
we applied perforation to the screen to enable light to penatrate through.
Back and Forth, Artificial and Natural. Night and Day. This cycle of energy, taking and giving.
